it's important to get out of the gym / garage whenever possible and get outside for a change of scenery. this workout was a nice change of pace and a welcome reprieve from recent efforts. i went first; 2 penalty sets of burpees on the farmer carries compared with only 1 for john resulted in the time difference for the first 400, similar technique and intensity on the ball toss kept our times close on the second, 2 breaks on the sandbag carry with around 10 paces of walking each compared with his steady trot created a large void between our sandbag runs, and the final 400 is pretty black and white - he ran faster. more work with this type of scenario is needed. the track is a nice escape, i recommend you visit it sometime.
