video tomorrow

progress is nice. it makes us feel good. or at least it should. don't get me wrong i'm happy to have pr'd in three areas today, i'm just dissatisfied with the void between my performance and my potential. video analysis revealed distinct lack of technique in both the clean and the jerk. i must become even more diligent and practice these movements weekly, if not daily. otherwise i'll always be wanting more and right now there's more to be gained from improvements in technique than strength. that being said the row is pretty black and white, or maybe it's the most gray of all. even though i do attribute some of the gains in that area to a slightly longer and more exaggerated stroke - i haven't been on a c2 since the last time i rowed the 5k for a pr and that was march 10th. and before that it wasn't very often either. how am i improving on something that everyone says is pure technique without ever doing it? or, maybe the question should be the same as the oly lifts - how much better at it could i be if i did practice it?
