knowing what you put your mind and body through on a weekly basis is something that keeps me going. someday i'll be making another trip down there and next time we'll plan a little better and get more chances to suffer together.

as for this birthday prescription, i don't know if i've seen deadlift and thrusters matched up very many times before this and i'm sure i've yet to put them together. would have never thought of it. the deadlifts killed my time. i chose to see if i could do each set unbroken with no pause and that may not have been the best strategy, at least not for today. sore lower back seems to always be my unintended gift to myself after doing deadlifts for time. thrusters were the easy part. ok, easier part. 2 minutes flew by but i feel like i attacked the burpees as good as i could. somewhat satisfied with my time for that portion considering the work done before it. thanks again and we'll meet again someday in the same space. hopefully sooner than later.
