weekends are tough. perfect for putting in some time in the garage but difficult to stay focused on the fuel sources for such work. i almost didn't do anything after my recent gains in nutrition took a few steps back over the last 24hrs. glad i did.

this effort was a test for deadlift efficiency. i wanted to see how i performed with the load under stress. video analysis revealed some loss of the improvements i'd made on form and technique. it's amazing to me how fast average ability in a movement can erode to barely passable. i want to get to the point where, even when neglected for a few weeks, my deadlifts consistently look 98%, not 75. lots of work to do.
