I think my power cleans would be a lot stronger if I would quit cranking my neck and keep it in line with my spine. Just saying...I should have stuck with the 125#...this will be a repeat workout for me. MJ

we chose loads that were approximately 90% of known or assumed 1rm and i believe that was the proper decision based on the goal of working at the limit. i feel like this is a valid test of ones ability to do just that. all factors come into play with an effort like this; fatigue, technique, and determiniation all play a significant role in ones score. for me the lack of technique in the clean and poor weekend choices resulted 3 failed attempts and what i believe to be a sub par performance. i too plan to re-test myself against this scenario. i think it would be worth it. by the way, if you don't have sandbags, get some. they're one of the most affordable tools out there and i think we've only scratched the surface of their applicability.
