Mod from Mainsite WOD:
3 rounds for time:
115 pound Squat clean thruster, 5 reps
10 pull-ups
6:32
My attempt was to MOD it to something under 10 minutes as I viewed this as one of the purposes of this WOD. In hindsight I think ideally I would have done 4 rounds. Although truthfully I am not sure how many more pull-ups were in me as the last round was all singles.

megan brought this little seven round pia over and i had absolutely no desire to do it. it didn't look like anything i needed and i was partially bent on going heavy so that didn't help. plus, broad jumps? standing and jumping 8' away, multiple times? 98 times?? i wasn't in but decided to ignore my thoughts and give it all i had. what i've found is that the mind and body have an amazing ability to adapt and find the path of least resistance when it comes to physical and mental exhertion. i had a hard timing sticking the 8' distance during warm up and wasn't really sure if the workout was even doable for me at that distance but once i made it a few times scaling went out the window. oddly enough i got faster at them with each passing round. i learned to jump, tuck, and land properly while managing breath and fatigue. next time this movement is put in front of me i won't hesitate, second guess, or question it, actually... i'm looking forward to doing them again.
nice work patrick! do that one again in a month at four rounds and i bet you'll beat your time.
