with unwelcome and surprisingly excessive pain residual still lurking from the thrusters there was no choice but to fight back. time didn't allow for a longer effort and at the same time i was craving a level of intensity that a longer effort wouldn't satisfy. sprints were the only answer. the heat played a small factor but more than anything my recent lack of similar efforts played the largest role in what i consider to be relatively slow times. next time i'll do 10 with the goal of fighting fatigue a little longer.
