5/3/2/2/1/2/1/2/2 = 20

i underestimated two things before actually taking this 9 min trip thru discomfortville.

1. although i wasn't sore from the previous days squats, the residual became apparent during the first set of double pushup lateral burpees. i knew right away this was going to be rough.

2. although i thought i was prepared for the double pushup lateral burpees they are infinitely more taxing on the entire system than i could have ever imagined. i would have never anticipated 4 "burpees" of any variation consuming 25 seconds in the later rounds.

this is an effort that must be experienced to be fully understood. the additional pushup seemed to serve two purposes in this scenario. the first was to balance out the taxing of the lower body from the jumps and the squat cleans and the second was to eliminate ones ability to get into much of a rhythm when compared to a standard burpee. this movement will be revisited. the other ingredient is what i consider to be one of the top two most challenging lifts. even though it's only at a snails pace, my squat clean continues to improve. video revealed more emphasis on the "big chest" and explosion from the "hip pockets" in a "ping pong" position. baby steps.

in the end this combination proved to be a significant challenge. breath, stamina, strength, coordination, and technique were all challenged in a short window with only two "movements". i'd like to try it again at the female load of 95lbs to see how i stack up against some "local talent". i'd need to triple my score to compete and even then there would be unanswered questions regarding my output.

15 total went 4-3-2 than all singles. got to be a real struggle for me to get the burpees in time to even get one squat clean the last couple rounds, liked the workout a lot though!
