poor recovery in all areas after yesterdays efforts led to a drained and lethargic system. of course, even though i should have known, this wasn't fully realized until it was too late and the seconds had already begun to tick away, at what seemed to be twice the normal speed. my weight has crept back up in the past three days and is again, an issue. it's not an issue if i'm ok maintaining my current levels of performance but i'm not content. nutrition and recovery continue to be my primary failures with regards to progress. today's scenario should have easily been completed in sub 9 with each set of du going well below the 2 min mark. i don't know, maybe i should have taken the day off and hit this one fresh, but with the extra time of the weekend i felt like i needed to log another day before waking up to the demands of monday. obviously my outlook is currently on the negative side. this was a great wod, i should have destroyed it. i'm just a little disappointed that i didn't.
