circuit: 5:57
snatch: 48 in 3:03

i went pretty much nonstop on the 5 rounds of work and it took just under the estimated time of 6 min. the recovery period flew by leaving me at a slight deficit starting into the snatch. 10r/10l - 9r/6,3l - 5r/3,2l
i'll need to even out my abilites, scoring left and right held me back but that was the point. i want to be proficient no matter what hand the kb is in. isn't that the way it should be?

This is meholmst (formerly of Syracuse; now in Delaware)... Great workout, just tried it out today (1/22) with my temporary workout buddy (the wife). Took me a little longer on the 5 rounds (about 7 minutes), and had a pretty good ~2 minutes of snatches. Wound up with 32 reps. She worked her ass off too, getting 22 reps during her snatch portion.
We're getting the garage gym together slowly but surely... and getting settled into a decent workout schedule. As usual, your workouts add a certain degree of insanity and unpredictability to life. Hope that all is going well, and that you kicked ass at the Shop games!

good to hear from you again.
while the shop games were a success for the shop and many participants it turned out to be somewhat of an awakening for me. more work is needed than i had previously thought and the solutions to certain problems are currently being considered.
congrats on your new space. for me it seems as though the challenges of training at home far outweight the convenience. that being said there is a sort of peace that one feels when things go right and a considerable amount of pride in building something on your own. if you find someone willing to go through these scenarios (or your own) with you and you can stand having them around, make it work. as i've said before, going solo is not the shortest route to closing the gap on your potential.
