25:19 on the short grind

day 4 before some needed rest but the opportunity to act was present and working while less than 100% is, from time to time, the right call.

changing up the abbreviated version of the 5/55 to the not so standard iteration above proved to elicit the desired response and scenario. the temptation to start out in high gear is great but don't take the bait, the third and fourth laps will require you to tap the reserves and adapt to a new and uncomfortable set of demands. knowing things will get harder (1-10) or easier (10-1) allows one to attack at a pace based on known and familiar requirements. insular gym... not only flipping and reversing but changing the equation all together, isn't that what we should all be doing? predictability and comfort zones are the enemy. stear clear or welcome the abrupt feeling of kissing the wall.

Followed the same rep scheme in seperate workouts/classes on the same day. Different movements, different variations on the O2 depletion but the same response. Great rep scheme.
