welcome is the change in plans when one is resourceful to do much with little. speed bumps, lost (or stolen) maps, downed bridges, and running out of gas are all opportunities to slow down and enjoy the trip. often times we get too focused on the goals and some end product that we may never touch that we forget to open our minds and find ways to make the most of not only what we have but what we've been given. the present is the only thing in our control and being sure to make the most of it has got to be at the top of the priority list.

this scenario was put together last minute when previous plans were scrapped due to outside factors. the final product was highly effective in simultaneously creating an increase in both physical stress and confidence with regard to random obstacles. efforts where discomfort and unfamiliarity play a role are vital.

take the time, throw away the blueprint and not only think but work outside the box. you never know what could be possible when you go back and enjoy the spaces we all did as kids. the sandbox is a free and easily accessible tool that undeniably plays an important role in the life and training of a well rounded (and entertained) kid. and really, who wants to lose that?
