with residual from yesterday's squat cleans and c2 sprint still lingering i decided to head out and tackle the last route of the konza trails. not the fastest pace but part of this extended loop was new territory and in the end it turned out to be a dissapointment. i'll get more out of pushing harder on the shorter 4.7 mile loop with it's rockier terrain and more drastic elevation changes than i will another 1.4 miles of pretty much flat and uneventful cross country running. this konza prairie running is something special. i can't believe i trained for the last two 10k runs on the linear trail. other than the track (which i need to get to soon) cedar crest and the konza prairie is where i intend to do my running for the foreseeable future.

thanks rob. it was a fight. someone once told me it should always be a fight and i think he was right. it's really the only way to know if we're pushing the limits and going as hard as we should. if i can just pin down the technique at heavier loads. 225lbs is on the radar.
