after yesterday's debacle i'd like to think this proves something but in reality the results are 100% inconclusive. as mentioned in the link from last time i was only beginning to kip and both trips thru this short and sweet metcon were taken with unbroken sets of front squats. the gains were likely made from the ability to do all sets of pull ups unbroken vs destroying myself with a hodge podge of strict work mixed in with something resembling a fish with a hook in its mouth wondering when it will be let off the line.
i highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for a good flogging. after coming off the bar for the 50th pull up i glanced at the clock and yelled "lookout below!!!"... this heap of flesh is coming down hard and i wouldn't want anyone to get squashed. lying on the floor i could do nothing other than question my reasons for even doing this kind of work. i've come to realize that there's a reason i had stayed away from it for so long.
