the decision had been made to take a break from training for the day and focus on the "to do" list that never gets any shorter. midway thru the day and it had turned out to be more than productive, plans for the evening had been made, relaxation was the main course. then, out of nowhere the call to action came from the south. two short conversations and a couple of texts later, the game was on. a challenge from john in the form of what you see above. situps, ok. run, ok. 150 24kg swings, not excited. in the end the neck and neck race to the finish line of the last couple duels continues to get more and more interesting with each battle. strengths and weaknesses, back and forth. when two people are relatively evenly matched in "fitness" it comes down to skill. my goal? to be as skilled and diversified as possible so that i never get caught staring too long at the headlights before taking action and executing the escape plan.

I remember doing something like this a while back. It's a great combo for dissecting the core. Not sure why more people haven't discovered it.
