i'm not against training at a deficit but there's more to the equation than hard work. my body has never screamed for rest like this. i'm beginning to believe that this feeling is the result of the recent 6 day personal assault launched on the system. lots of work under less than ideal circumstances. i will likely have to change my tune about over training. it's not advantageous to go more than 3 or 4 days in a row without proper nutrition and recovery. training smart, not hard, is the key to progress and longevity. i swung too far in one direction and now i'm paying the price by being forced to ride the pendulum in the other direction. tomorrow's "house of cards" awaits. time to rest.
