for total bench press repititions in 16 minutes:

60lb sandbag run x 50m
anchored situps x 12
185lb bench press x (1-?)*

*starting at one, add one rep per round until time expires

eradication of the current status resulting from ignoring a previously familiar skill begins immediately. unlike that of riding a bike the du demands constant attention and revisitation.

the second part of this day was, in reality, a cleverly disguised bench press workout. 185lbs garnered enough respect that the situps and bag carry were managed at pace due to the fear of being under the bar again soon. any increase in pace in these two tasks resulted in excessive recovery before another lift off. all sets unbroken until 9 going 6 and 3. the last effort was finished 6, 3, 1 with the final rep accomplished just seconds after time expired.
