the double rope climb and over demands respect. if the rope isn't properly secured by the feet, upright motion comes to a complete halt and quickly turns into a frustrating slide downward. combined with the difficulty in getting over the upright i was only able to manage 5 reps during the 4 minutes, far less than anticipated. picking up the kb's for the farmer carry with no rest and a ruined grip turned an active recovery phase into pure work. each trip down and back ended up taking approximately 3:20 leaving me a mere 20 seconds on average before and after max efforts. kb squats went ok but more reps should have been accumulated during this section. the kb sto was, again, surprisingly difficult. i think the carries had a far more profound effect on output then what i had planned. i was winded and had little left in the tank by the time i got to the slams, as shown by the low score. overall a good effort, not intense but hard consistent work.
