RECOVER AND RECONSIDER THE BALANCE

how much is enough? how much is too much?

it doesn't matter what the subject is, these are questions one must revisit and answer on no less than a frequent basis.

with regards to training volume and direction the answers to these questions may be not only counter intuitive but elusive. furthermore, the results will not only vary from person to person but from circumstance to situation within the same individual.

one must realize and remember that the answer from last week, month, or year may not be the same as it is today. all we can do is ask the questions, consider the factors, and choose a direction.
