it was tough, that mile took a lot out of me both mentally and physically. the squat / sprint combo is something i really believe in. working on my ability to sprint out of that "hole" is something i plan to continue working on.
it's a strange injury, hurts like hell if any pressure is put on the back of my heel. it must be some sort of deep bone bruise. i think i got luck because other than a little discomfort during efforts it hasn't affected my training. i also haven't tried to run yet so we'll see.
