the squat clean is one of my main focuses right now. the more i learn the more there is to learn. things went well thru 205 and since i'd accomplished it before i decided to skip 215 to see how successful i could be at 225. several failed attempts convinced me that i'm strong enough but something breaks down with the addition of that extra 10-20lbs. i still believe it's more form related than strength but if i'm to clean 225 both will need to be addressed.

failed the first power clean and after recovering and refocusing the second one went up no problem. after the first set of front squats i realized that things were going to be rough. with my recent focus on the back squat i've been somewhat neglecting this movement. a few months back 185 x 5 wouldn't have been an issue but today was different. time to work it back in without taking away from the back squat or deadlift too much.

45 burpees
85 double unders
this was enough to make me wish it was only 4 sets of each instead of the 8 minutes i committed to before starting. shoulders, arms, and core were quite fatigued by this point and the one two combo had me nearly knocked out, ranging anywhere from 5-7 burpees and 2-26 du.

overall a good day. lot's of work in a wide variety of movements.
